Jakarta - Jamrud band recently celebrated birthday-15. On these special days, they released a new album titled 'Earth and Sky Crying'. Cs Azis also to recycle folk songs.
"On this album we single 'Sik sik Sibatumanikam'. This song Tapanuli area, North Sumatra, which we re-arrangements in accordance with Jamrud song," says the guitarist, Aziz during a press conference on the Score, Cilandak Town Square, South Jakarta, Saturday (19 / 3 / 2011).
In addition to launching new album on special days, Jamrud also introduced new personnel, Iwan as vocal. For 15 years engaged in the world of music, Jamrud was three times changed its formation.
"We need a higher voice for musical arrangement, so we need additional vocals, vocals that have a high tone," he explained.
According to Aziz, the 'Earth and Sky Crying', Jamrud presents a harder rock music. They also continue to explore with his music in order to remain competitive with rock bands of Indonesia.
